Oral and Written Report
With your home inspection, you will get an immediate oral report and an emailed detailed and comprehensive inspection report, that same day. Both will serve as your guide for as long as you own the home. Both reports, not only describes the house components and their condition, but also provides insight into what improvements might be necessary, and when.
The home inspection oral and written report you receive, describes each of the major systems of the home, including:
- STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS: Foundation(s), Grading & Drainage, Roof Covering, Roof Structures & Attic, Interior/Exterior Walls, Doors (Interior/Exterior), Windows, Etc...
- ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS: Branch Circuits, Connected Devices, Fixtures, Etc...
- HEATING VENTILATION, AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS (HVAC): Gas, Electric, Radiant, Geothermal*, Mechanical Exhaust Systems, Etc...
- PLUMBING SYSTEMS: Supply, Distribution System, Drains/Waste/Vents, Water Heater, Fixtures, Etc...
- APPLIANCES: Dishwasher, Range/Cooktop, Oven, Microwave, Kitchen Exhaust System, Etc...
- OPTIONAL/ADDITIONAL SYSTEMS at an additional fee include: Landscape Irrigation System, Outbuilding(s), Thermal Imaging, Termite*/Pest*, Swimming Pool*/Spa*/Hot Tub*, Water Well*, Septic System*

The reports address the condition of each of these systems. Recommended repairs, replacements or improvements are documented. The report also includes a color coded summary of significant (SIG), minimal,(MIN), up grade recommended (UGR), or just informational (INFO) issues for quick reference.
The summary is often the most important part of the report for people making their purchase decision and/or in negotiating your final purchase/sell price.

Home Safety Tips
The report will provide you with a number of home safety tips, addressing everything from smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, overhead garage door openers, water/gas/electrical shut off locations, and other important safety tips.
